The Mystery Spot

I came across ( it’s always fun to look through an old flash memory from college) a presentation that I did a long time ago about a place that I’ve been to in Santa Cruz, California, called the Mystery Spot!

What’s the Mystery?

Well Imagine a place where everything doesn’t make sense..where vision can be deceiving ..and where  physics laws does not apply …

What’s the History?

It was discovered in 1939 by a gentlemen who was surveying the hillside to build a cabin when he felt a force pulling him down … when the cabin was completed it was discovered that it appeared to be tilted although is was built on a firm foundation  …

The history that follows states that other surveyors tried to survey the land but noticed that none of their leveling equipment made sense with what they saw ..

What makes this place interesting to visit?

Trees within diameter points to one area … a shorter person can appear taller … you feel heavier as you climb down rather than uphill … if you roll a ball it will roll upwards  …

Although there are many theories about this place and although there have been many speculation about it being an Illusion … it is a place worth visiting if you are in the area … you can come up with your own conclusion.. check them out here!
