What Kinda Shopper are You?
I was waiting in the VAT line since I bought an Ipad (a birthday gift for my father) and thought it might be worth getting back the Tax .. I noticed that most of the people waiting in line were fellow Kuwaitis each with at least 2 iPhone purchase and one in hand .. Although I am a big believer in “let people do whatever they want “, it just made me think of how materialistic we became as a culture .. constantly looking for the new and the expensive from brands, technologies, cars and pretty much everything else .. Although I personally know that many people don’t think this way .. I am speaking here as a culture in general ..
In an article titled “why do we want mor than we need?” there is a test about what type of buyer are you that analyses the type of buyers and the hidden motives behind it…. I am, personally, not much of a shopper and I don’t enjoy the process at all .. I however spend a lot of money on FOOD! I enjoy experiencing new restaurants of all types and budgets and am guilty of that… yeah and travelling too 🙂
